S.G.Prince-Cox signed up as a bugler in the Royal Marine Artillery at the outbreak of World War 1.

He was probably aged between 14-15 when he signed up,

Service Number 16500,

He served on HMS Emperor of India in 1924 and awarded a Marathon Medal,

He served during World War 2 as a sergeant in the Royal marines Service number 216500,

At some point during his service he was injured and was a casualty of war, and left the service,
