Friends of Anthony decided to commemorate his 75th birthday with this special edition bronze medal,
He held a number of posts during his lifetime- president of the Astrolabe society, chief chemist and director of Research, Director of Scientific information of CIBA, worked in the formula of toluene an ingredient in WW2 aviation fuel, The international association for the Advancement of Science,
wrote numerous books and Journals,
The bronze medals were sent to friends and scientists who Anthony worked with over the years,
One was sent to Buckingham palace as an addition to the science collection,
It is believed only 50 were produced.
